Our Story

Sweet Bean started in a home kitchen in Santaquin, Utah — with one persistent question: Why did every sugar substitute either taste bitter, refuse to bake, or lean on ingredients you couldn't pronounce?

Founder Alan Sharp spent years testing combinations, chasing one goal: a sweetener that behaves like sugar in every way that matters — the measuring, the mixing, the browning, the taste — without any of the sugar itself.
